I am currently on my laptop. I tried to remove sp3 thinking that it maybe the cause, but uninstalling only gets part of the way, then I get a message saying that it cannot find hh.exe.000 and the process stops at updating the registry and the entire computer freezes. There are other issues with winsock, which I tried to fix by downloading the winsock xp fix, but I still cant get online. I unplugged the internet connection as soon as Avast responded, however, I am afraid I have been infected. I formatted the flash drive and the warning messages stopped.
